AHS’s Shaganappi CHC nursing and management staff welcomed clients to their space with a hand-crafted PositiviTREE. Everyone who visited was encouraged to leave a positive message about their day, their visit, or any other message they wanted to share with other parents and children.  

Acorn Design Inc. immediately began brainstorming ways to create an Environmental Graphic Design solution that: 

• was more durable; 

• could be sanitized on a regular basis; 

• could be changed out over various seasons;

• maintained the spirit of the PositiviTREE.

After some trial-and-error in the mock-up stage, magnetic, full-colour printed glass wall panels were commissioned, magnetic custom-made leaves with a whiteboard-type surface were created, and upon the opening of the newly-expanded clinic visitors were able to put the PositiviTREE into use.
